A DISGUSTED mother-of-three has called for action against perverts committing “vile” sex acts at a popular family picnic site.

Samantha Hindle, of Hapton, is sickened that Mill Hill Lane picnic area has become a seedy “dogging” hotspot for gay men.

She claims scores of men are engaging in sordid sexual acts in the bushes and the rural beauty spot is littered with extreme pornography.

Mrs Hindle, who walks her dogs in the woods with her three children, says the lewd behaviour is putting families off visiting the site.

She said: “It is shameless. They are so blatant about it. I sometimes take my children up there and there are men in the bushes and they ask what is going on. It is like a mass orgy up there. It happens at all times of the day.

“My little boy has picked up a magazine and said ‘what is that?’ It was so graphic. The area is littered with pornography and I dread to think what the tissues and baby wipes have been used for. It is vile.”

She has called for police to crack down on the activities which she says have stopped families using the site.

“When you are out with your children on a Sunday afternoon and see that, it is wrong. I want a stop to it.”

The issue was raised at this week’s meeting of Hapton Parish Council.

Coun. Joanne Greenwood, councillor for Hapton with Park, said: “It is indecent. Lots of families go up walking in the woods. My advice to anyone up there who sees anything is to ring the police. They are aware of the problem.

“They have been going up and monitoring the area. People should not be put off from going up there.”

A notorious gay sex haunt in Bisham could become a family picnic area under plans outlined by a newly-formed residents association.

Hurley Lane Residents Group is planning to address several issues in the area, including the seedy use of the A404 layby near Temple Golf Club.

Members hope to restore the layby to a scenic lunching-area and clear a public right-of-way that runs alongside it.

The group held a private meeting at Temple Golf Club on Monday attended by officials from the Royal Borough, police and Highways Agency.

A spokesman for the council said: “I can confirm that we were there. However, it was not our meeting and we have been asked not to pass on what was said.”

In May it was revealed plans to remodel the A404 layby, which is listed on websites as a ‘cruising’ zone, had been sidelined because of a lack of funding.

Other issues the group aims to tackle are general security, speeding along Hurley Lane and noise and pollution caused by ‘occasional raves’ held in the underpass under the A404.

A 24-year-old single man told cops the 58-year-old TV favourite molested him after they met in a bar following a Westlife concert in Dublin.

Cops have seized CCTV film from the nightclub where the dad claims he was indecently assaulted.

They will also study footage from a hotel where the pair allegedly met.

The man told police Louis groped his private parts after they got chatting.

But last night furious Louis said: “The allegations made against me are wholly false and with no foundation.”

He added: “I will happily cooperate fully with the police and am 100 per cent confident that after a full investigation I will be fully exonerated.”

The dad claims the attack happened in the early hours of April 10. It is said Louis stopped off at Dublin’s Russell Court Hotel after attending a concert in the city by Westlife, the group he created.

The father told cops he socialised with Louis in the hotel’s private Global Bar – and later in its famous Krystle nightclub.

In a statement, he claimed the TV favourite assaulted him when he went to the club’s loo.

Detectives will study the CCTV footage in a bid to determine any sequence of events. A police source said last night: “An investigation is ongoing.” Louis will be interviewed if it is thought there is a case to answer.

Following that, if there is credible evidence, a file will be prepared for Ireland’s Director of Public Prosecutions, who will decide whether charges are brought.

A spokeswoman for Louis said he had nothing to hide.

She added: “He vigorously denies all of the allegations.

“If contacted by the police he will willingly cooperate with any investigation. Louis categorically denies any wrongdoing and will fight to clear his name.”

The alleged victim refused to comment last night.

Irishman Louis became a household name in 2004 when he became a judge on X Factor alongside Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne.

He is the only remaining member of the original panel and has been joined at auditions for the new series by Take That’s Gary Barlow, Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland and N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos.

A specific offence should be created banning sex in public toilets, an influential MPs’ committee has said.

Such activity – commonly known as “cottaging” and practised by some gay men – is currently covered by laws on buggery and gross indecency, but these are being repealed in the Sexual Offences Bill currently going through Parliament.

The House of Lords last month voted to amend the Bill to make cottaging an offence, but the Home Office has rejected the proposal on the grounds that the problem can be dealt with under the existing law against outraging public decency.

The House of Commons Home Affairs Committee said the confusion should be cleared up by spelling out explicitly that all sexual activity in public toilets is an offence.

In a report on the Bill – due to be debated in the Commons next Tuesday – the committee proposed an amendment to the separate Public Order Act, stating that its prohibition of “threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour” includes cottaging.

“There is much concern and disagreement as to whether this Bill will legalise sexual activity in public toilets,” the committee said.

“We recommend that sexual activity in public toilets should be a criminal offence and suggest that this could be dealt with by an amendment to section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986, which makes it clear that ‘insulting’ behaviour includes sexual behaviour.

“This would dispense of the need to prove specific sexual acts and also has the advantage of empowering the police to give a warning before making an arrest.”

The committee backed proposals in the Bill to make grooming a child for sexual abuse an offence. It welcomed changes which will mean that naturism will not be criminalised by the Bill’s measures to clamp down on flashers.

The committee also recommended that suspects in sex cases should be granted the protection of anonymity until a charge has actually been brought.

POLICE are pledging action amid fears that Wigan toilets are being used as a sex den.

Shocked shoppers have reported seeing two men having full sex next to the urinals at the public conveniences in Ashton.

And now a ward councillor is demanding action after insisting the Princess Road facilities she campaigned to have refurbished by the local authority are becoming a “no-go” zone for disgusted shoppers.

Labour’s Ann Rampling – whose own adult son has complained about being propositioned there by a middle-aged man – is worried the toilets may have been advertised as a meeting point on a sex contact website.

She met police chiefs this week to discuss the complaints, and has welcomed GMP pinning up warning notices on the walls of the toilets warning that they are now monitoring the conveniences for illegal sexual behaviour.

Recently, a shopper about to use the toilets was forced to leave when he found two men indulging in “full penetrative sex” in full view in late afternoon.

Grandmother Coun Rampling wants to stamp out such brazen and lewd acts before the school holidays.

She is concerned about the apparent escalation of cottaging, and the outrage it is causing among the wider population.

She said: “This is a situation that is growing, and is all the more shocking as it is during the day. The toilets are locked up in the early evening after being cleaned.

“My own son has been accosted there, and to be frank, he was so angry that he lamped the man and ran out.

“Since people have found out I was meeting police, I have had a number of people coming up and telling me what they have seen, and how much it upset them.

“Anybody who knows me knows I am absolutely not a prude and I don’t mind what people do. But if there is a time there is certainly a place – and this isn’t the place.

“I have got gay friends and this isn’t the issue. The concern is they are doing it in a public toilet in full view, and not even in a cubicle.

“When I spoke to the police, they confirmed they have known about this happening a couple of times before, but they thought it had eased off.

“The concern now is that it seems to have started again.

“My worry is that I go down to Ashton with my grandson, who is nine, and he doesn’t want to go into the ladies’ toilets with his grandma – he wants to go into the gents’ by himself. But I don’t want to think about him witnessing something like this.

“I campaigned outside the toilets to get them cleaned up after I walked in one day and found a young girl changing a baby on the dirty floor, which left me absolutely mortified.

“I got a changing area in there, and the whole toilets were cleaned up.

“The last thing we want is for them to now become a no-go zone for people.”

The two men involved in the latest incident were said to be in their mid-40s.

Police confirmed they are currently investigating the complaints.

The Archbishop of Canterbury has vowed he will never allow Church of England buildings to be used for gay weddings.

Dr Rowan Williams told MPs that he would not bow to pressure to enable his churches to be used for same-sex unions.

His intervention comes as the Coalition consults on plans to allow civil partnerships between gays and lesbians to take place in religious settings for the first time.

No church, mosque or synagogue will be forced to host the ceremonies – but some religious people are worried they could be open to discrimination suits if they do not open their doors to gay unions.

Some within the CofE have been calling on the Archbishop to move with the times and allow his churches to host gay weddings – pointing out that polls have shown that some two thirds of the British public would be in support.

But now Dr Williams, who was seen as a liberal when he took up his post, has indicated that on this issue he will ally himself with conservatives in the Church.

He told MPs that the CofE believed marriage could only be a union between a man and a woman – and that he would not be changing course.

The meeting was set up by Tony Baldry, Tory MP for North Oxfordshire, in order to build relations between the church and politicians.

Challenged by Simon Kirby, the Tory MP for Brighton Kemptown, to explain what he would say to a same-sex couple wanting a church union, Dr Williams said he would not countenance weakening its teaching on marriage, and would not be dictated to by the Coalition.

Canon Chancellor Giles Fraser, based at St Paul’s Cathedral, wants gay weddings recognised

Mr Kirby said the comments would alienate gay Christians and would make the Anglican Church look out of touch.

‘I had hoped he might be more measured in his response and reflect on the cases for both sides of the argument more evenly, but he was very one-sided,’ he said.

‘Public opinion is moving faster than the Church on this issue and it is increasingly in danger of getting left behind.’

A consultation on allowing gays and lesbians to have civil partnership ceremonies in church will begin in April. It could even lead to gays getting full marriage rights.

Giles Fraser, canon chancellor at St Paul’s cathedral, said the Church of England should be embracing gay equality in marriages.

‘Gay relationships are perfectly capable of reflecting the love of God,’ he said.

‘Which is why the church should respond more imaginatively to the idea of same-sex blessings being celebrated in church.’

A spokesman for Lambeth Palace, the seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury, said: ‘The Church still believes on the basis of Bible and tradition that marriage is between a man and a woman and does not accept that this needs to change.

‘Civil partnerships now provide legal securities for same-sex couples but this does not, in itself, alter what we believe to be unique about marriage.’

Canon Glyn Webster, a senior member of the General Synod, said: ‘It’s only possible for a marriage to be between a man and a woman. I’m not saying there can’t be loving relationships between people of the same sex, but that doesn’t equate to marriage.

‘I want the Church to keep to the policy of refusing to hold blessing services for same-sex couples.’

A MAN punched his girlfriend’s gay friend over a false claim they were homosexual lovers, a court heard.

Gay man Allan Binns suffered bruising, a cut to his right eyebrow and pain in his shoulder after Lee Parr, 31, attacked him at his Lincoln home.

Daniel Paulson, prosecuting at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, said Mr Binns had told Parr’s girlfriend over lunch he had performed a sex act on him.

Mr Paulson said: “Mr Binns was a friend of Mr Parr’s girlfriend.
“He believes there was a homophobic motive to the assault.

“He was at home when he was woken up by banging on the front door, Mr Parr entered and punched him.

“In his personal impact statement, Mr Binns said he does not feel safe in his own home and places a cabinet over the spyhole in the front door.”

Parr, of Ryland Road, Dunholme, near Lincoln, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm on November 11 last year.

Parr’s solicitor, Lloyd Edwards, said Binns’s false allegation about the defendant’s sexuality was a ploy to get his female friend to dump Parr.

“My client is not, in any way, homosexual,” said Mr Edwards.

“Mr Binns is trying to claim he had an affair with my client.

“That seems to suggest my client is a homosexual – he is not.

“Mr Binns made the extraordinary claim that he had sex with Mr Parr.

“That allegation is completely untrue. It was made to cause trouble between Mr Parr and his girlfriend and it seems he has achieved exactly that.”

The court heard that Mr Binns also sent several texts to the woman, including: “He’s not the one for you” and “I’m your best friend”.

Mr Edwards said when Parr went to Binns’s house to verbally challenge him, the complainant laughed in his face.

“Mr Parr assaults Mr Binns,” said Mr Edwards.

“He accepts this was not the right way to go about it and this has led to the separation from his girlfriend.”

He will be sentenced on April 1, following a probation report.

Men with historical convictions for consensual gay sex are to have their criminal records wiped clean, it will be announced today. Thousands of men were prosecuted over four decades for having sex with a partner aged 16 or over when the act was illegal. They have protested that their criminal records have dogged them throughout their lives.

Under the move, included in the new Protection of Freedoms Bill, convictions under the 1956 Sexual Offences Act will be expunged from police and other official records. Gay sex between men over 21 was decriminalised in 1967. The homosexual age of consent was reduced to 18 in 1994 and brought down to 16 – in line with the age of consent for heterosexual acts – six years later.

A Government source said: “To maintain police records of such convictions and require them to be disclosed in effect maintains the discrimination against gay men that was inherent in these outmoded offences. Society has moved on.”Today’s Bill also narrows the scope of the DNA database, imposes restrictions on CCTV cameras and scales back checks on people working with children.

Nick Clegg, the Deputy Prime Minister, said the Bill marked a return to commonsense government that would free millions of law- abiding people from unwarranted state intrusion in their private lives.
